Lisy Stefanoni: SOUND STORM European Tour

Frankfurt, last date of this spectacular tour: sadness and melancholy filled the air. The last soundcheck, the last live, the last day together...the venue, Batschkapp in Frankfurt is huge and modern, the dressing room shared with Coma very spacious, super catering, with a great breakfast waiting for us.
We brought into the venue instruments and also all the luggages because after the concert we came back to Italy with a mobile home, a friend came to pick us from Turin. Soundcheck also today was slowly with few problems, but the result was great. At the end of a tour it's tradition to make jokes and featuring between bands, but from this point of view we were disappointed: just a couple of featurings were performed by Therion and Arkona, Christopher and Christian from Therion took part in an acoustic song by Arkona while Masha and Vladimir took part in a song by Therion. In addition no jokes, nothing.
But for the last concert we organized something special: we dressed in mimetic pants and Sound Storm t-shirt, painted our faces with an "evil" make up and performed our songs in death/black metal style.
People loved it a lot, like we have never seen on this tour!
After the live I listened for the last time to Arkona and Therion and during Lemuria I cried...the end of an experience like this is sad, it's very difficult to leave all these people who became a family.
I bought merch and collected autographs and photos, last memories: I appreciated very much that Arkona gave me their t-shir!
The moment of saying goodbye was really hard, last hugs and we left for Turin, with our hearts full of unforgettable memories!

Francoforte, ultima data di questo spettacolare tour: nell'aria regnano tristezza e malinconia e si avverte un po' in tutti, Therion compresi. L'ultimo soundcheck, l'ultimo live, l'ultima giornata insieme...la venue, Batschkapp di Francoforte è grande e moderna, la dressing room in comune con i Coma molto spaziosa, il catering eccezionale, con una ricca colazione ad attenderci. Scarichiamo oltre alla strumentazione anche tutti i bagagli dal tourbus perchè dopo il concerto torneremo subito in Italia con un camper, un amico ci è venuto a prendere da Torino. Soundcheck anche oggi molto lungo con qualche problematica da risolvere, ma alla fine ne sono risultati ottimi suoni. E' consuetudine alla fine di un tour fare featuring e scherzi tra le band, ma da questo punto di vista siamo rimasti delusi: hanno eseguito un paio di featuring solo i Therion e gli Arkona, Christopher e Christian dei Therion hanno partecipato ad una rivisitazione acustica di un brano degli Arkona mentre Masha e Vladimir hanno partecipato ad un brano dei Therion. C'era in forse una partecipazione del chitarrista dei Therion in un nostro brano e la partecipazione di David alla batteria dei Therion in un loro pezzo ma alla fine è stato tutto declinato, purtroppo. Inoltre zero scherzi, niente di niente.
Ma noi Sound Storm abbiamo voluto finire col botto e ci siamo organizzati tra noi: per l'ultimo concerto ci siamo vestiti tutti quanti in pantaloni mimetici e maglietta della band, ci siamo fatti un trucco "male", e abbiamo eseguito i pezzi tirandoli al massimo, con cantati quasi per la maggior parte in scream e growl.
Ne è risultato un live cattivissimo, sembravamo una band death/black metal ma la gente ha apprezzato moltissimo, si sono scatenati sotto al palco come non abbiamo mai visto in questo tour!!
Dopo il live mi sono ascoltata per l'ultima volta gli Arkona e i Therion, e in Lemuria lo ammetto, ho pianto...purtroppo la fine di una esperienza del genere è sempre molto difficile, lasciare tutte queste persone che ormai sono diventate come una famiglia è stato davvero brutto.
Come ultima cosa ho fatto scorta di merch e di autografi e foto, una raccolta di ultimi ricordi: ho apprezzato tantissimo il gesto degli Arkona che mi hanno regalato la maglietta!!
Il momento degli addii è stato davvero difficile, tra abbracci e arrivederci siamo saliti sul camper e ci siamo diretti verso Torino pieni di ricordi indimenticabili nel nostro cuore!
