Today we came back to Wien, this time on the stage of Club Szene: after the great venues of East Europe here the backjstage is small and also the hall is not huge as the previous clubs.
The morning began with a stop at a gas station where I drank a chocolate that tastes like dirty water.
Manager of Arkona Christoph joined our table: the previous days between us and him there were some misunderstandings, but now it seems that everything is finally solved. When we arrived to the venue, it was still closed and we decided to take a ride in the surrounding area to buy something, today I felt really bad with my throat, cold and cough and I went to a pharmacy where I bought medicines for 45 €! :(
We also went to a supermarket to buy some honey and then to Mc Donald where Christoph joined us again...the tour is going to become positive also with Russian! Today no soundcheck, and during the live David had to play without trigger (for the whole tour he will use the one of Arkona) but this did not affect the quality of our gig, our drummer is a machine!! When we went on stage the hall was already crowded, my voice worked good the same, and tonight we gave the best! We are into the spirit of the tour at all!
The evening ended in the tourbus with the first talk with Sergei, the guitarist of Arkona...finally he starts to familiarize with us and he is really nice: he told us to be a fan of Stormlord and after discovering that David is the drummer he didn't stop to give him hugs :D
Now we are really a family!!
Oggi siamo ritornati a Vienna, stavolta sul palco dello Szene Club: dopo i grandi locali dell'Est dei giorni precedenti questo è stato un po' deludente...piccola sia la sala sia il backstage.
La mattina inizia con una sosta in autogrill dove mi bevo una cioccolata che sembra acqua sporca. Al nostro tavolino con me, Max e David si aggiunge Christoph, il manager degli Arkona: i giorni precedenti tra noi e lui c'è stata qualche incomprensione, dovita al fatto che pretendeva scaricassimo e caricassimo sempre noi anche il materiale degli Arkona, essendo noi e gli Heavenshine support e loro guest dei Therion. Con i dovuti modi gli abbiamo fatto capire che in questo tour si deve collaborare e deve esserci rispetto reciproco e a quanto pare sembra che finalmente si sia tutto risolto. Quando arriviamo al locale è ancora chiuso e ne approfittiamo per fare un giro nel circondario della zona a fare qualche acquisto utile: purtroppo sono davvero messa male con la gola, raffreddore e tosse e mi reco in farmacia dove tra gocce, spray, caramelle, aspririna mi partono la bellezza di 45 euro!! Infine tappa anche al supermercato per comprare un po' di miele. Aspettando l'apertura del locale ne approfittato per un pranzo malsano al Mc Donald, Christoph si unisce ancora a noi, sembra proprio che si inizia ad andare d'accordo e il tour sta prendendo una piega sempre più positiva. Oggi niente soundcheck, e durante il live David dovrà suonare senza trigger (per tutto il tour utilizzerà quello messo a disposizione degli Arkona) ma ciò non pregiudica la qualità del live, è un batterista mostruoso e la resa è lo stesso super! Il locale quando saliamo sul palco è già abbastanza gremito e la mia voce nonostante le mie pessime condizioni regge bene, e anche stasera diamo il massimo! Ormai andiamo in automatico, siamo perfettamente rodati!
La serata si conclude in tourbus con le prime chiacchiere con Sergej, il chitarrista degli Arkona che finalmente si lascia andare e inizia a familiarizzare con noi e si rivela davvero simpatico: oltretutto salta fuori che è un fan degli Stormlord e dopo aver scoperto che David è il batterista lo riempie di abbracci :D
Anche con i russi abbiamo rotto il ghiaccio, ora qui in tourbus siamo davvero una famiglia!
