SOUND STORM European Tour - 16th/17th Dec: ITALY

Here we are at Club Z7 in Pratteln Switzerland, one of the best clubs in Europe, after two days spent in Italy. On monday after the date in Lausanne we arrived in Italy for the day off:  tourbus stopped at Milan Malpensa Airport, and from there we said goodbye to Heavenshine who finished their part of the tour, while some of my Sound Storm went back to Turin to meet their girlfriends.
I, David, and Davide decided to spend the dayoff in the downtown of Milan, and Vladimir from Arkona joined us: he is is always with us, we have a lot of fun together :) Of course the first thing that we did it was drinking a cappuccino followed by an Italian coffee ... finally! Viola, the girlfriend of Davide picked us up in Malpensa and together we reached Milan by car...the city welcomed us with a strike...welcome back to Italy! Before reaching the downtown and show Vladimir Milan, we stopped to BODE, official dealer of Evans which our drummer David Folchitto is an endorser: the night before in Lausanne the skin of the snare was broken and we needed a new one!
Then we reached the downtown by tram, we ate a pizza and we had a nice walk from Piazza Duomo to Sforzesco Castle...Vladimir was really excited, and took lots of pictures!
In the late afternoon we moved to Varallo Sesia, where Viola lives and we had a dinner in a really nice restaurant with a lovely carbonara (pasta finally!) After that I can't believe to sleep in a non-moving bed and take a shower in a real bathroom!
Varallo Sesia is half an hour from Romagnano Sesia, it was easy to reach Rock'n'Roll Arena the next day: we waited anxiously for the Italian date of the tour! Once arrived at the venue I immediately met some fans that recognized me as the singer of Evenoire: it was a pleasure to talk with them!
It was really wonderful to hug my my cousin Stefano, and other people who follow Evenoire or that I know...thank you all for your presence!
From this date Heavenshine were replaced by Poles Coma and unfortunately we became the opener. Yesterday this was really bad because we also started 10 minutes before the scheduled time and the doors were opened just 5 minutes before the start of our live, and a lot of people was still outside waiting to buy tickets...this only happened here in Italy and I don't understand...many of our friends were able to get in to the second or third song. In addition a song of our set was also cut, I am really upset about, this happened at home!! But for the rest it was a positive show, Italian audience greeted us well! Great dinner too...well I have to say Italy is Italy ! :)


Eccoci allo Z7 di Pratteln in Svizzera, uno dei migliori club europei, dopo la 2 giorni italiana. Lunedì dopo la data di Losanna siamo arrivati in Italia per il day off: verso mezzogiorno il tourbus si è fermato a Milano Malpensa, e da lì alcuni dei miei Sound Storm sono tornati a Torino per riabbracciare finalmente le fidanzate, mentre io, David e Davide abbiamo deciso di passare il day off in centro a Milano, e a noi si è unito Vladimir degli Arkona: ormai sta sempre con noi, si è affezionato parecchio e insieme ci si diverte un sacco :) Naturalmente la prima cosa che abbiamo fatto unja volta scesi dal tourbus è stata berci un cappuccino seguito da un caffè italiano...finalmente!! A prenderci a Malpensa è venuta Viola, la ragazza di Davide e tutti insieme abbiamo raggiunto Milano, che ci ha accolti con un bello sciopero dei mezzi...un gran bentornati direi!! Prima di farci un giretto in centro e mostrare a Vladimir Milano, abbiamo fatto tappa da B.O.D.E., rivenditore ufficiale delle pelli Evans di cui David è endorser: la sera prima a Losanna si è rotta la pelle del rullante ene era necessaria una nuova!

Ci siamo poi da lì diretti in centro col tram, ci siamo mangiati una pizza e abbiamo fatto un bel giretto da Piazza Duomo al castello Sforzesco...Vladimir ne era davvero entusiasta, e ha scattato un sacco di foto!

Nel tardo pomeriggio ci siamo poi spostati a Varallo Sesia, dove abita Viola che ci ha ospitato per la notte: tappa in un ristorante davvero carino dove ci siamo mangiati una bella carbonara (pasta finalmente!!), dopodiche non mi è sembrato vero dormire in un letto non in movimento e farmi una doccia in un bagno!!

Varallo Sesia dista una mezzoretta da Romagnano Sesia, ci è quindi stato facile raggiungere il Rock'n'Roll Arena l'indomani: attendevamo con ansia la data italiana del tour!! Arrivati al locale ho subito incontrato alcuni fans in coda dalla mattina alle 9 che mi hanno riconosciuta come cantante degli Evenoire: è stato un vero piacere fare qualche chiacchiera con loro!

Bellissimo anche rivedere il mio cugi Stefano dopo tanto, e incontrare anche altri ragazzi che seguono gli Evenoire o che conosco...grazie a tutti per la presenza!!

Dalla questa data agli Heavenshine sono subentrati i polacchi Coma e purtroppo siamo stati retrocessi in apertura: ieri la cosa ci ha davvero penalizzato, perchè oltre ad averci fatto iniziare 10 minuti prima dell'orario stabilito, ovvero le 20.00, le porte sono state aperte appena 5 minuti prima dell'inizio del nostro live, ed essendoci parecchia gente in coda, mentre il nostro concerto iniziava la maggior parte della gente era ancora fuori in attesa di poter entrare...una cosa sinceramente che è capitata solo qui in Italia e che non ho proprio capito...molti nostri amici son riusciti a entrare alla seconda o terza canzone. Inoltre ci è stata addirittura tagliata una canzone e tutto ciò mi ha fatto rimanere parecchio male, essendo la nostra serata in casa...ma nel complesso cmq per il resto è stato un live positivo, il pubblico italiano ci ha accolti bene! Fenomenale anche la cena devo dire...beh l'Italia è l'Italia!! :)
