Here we are in Krakow, ready for the first date of the tour! Yesterday morning we had an appointment at 9 am at our hotel in Dusseldorf with tourmanager that came to catch us with the tourbus... we were still sleeping when at 8 am Valerio's phone rang : "Guys get ready in 45 minutes". The tourmanager anticipated the roadmap, so we jumped out of our beds and quickly we got ready. 
Time to eat a muffin at the bakery near the hotel, and we saw our tourbus arriving: it was exciting to go up for the first time on a nightliner, with bunks on the second floor where we quickly settled to sleep a few more hours. We left for a long trip to Berlin to pick up Arkona, they came directly from the South American tour. But before, a stop to the railway station in Düsseldorf to pick up Italians Heavenshine who will share with us half tour.
It's been a long journey , but we were able to sleep, I have to say bunks are quite comfortable! We arrived in Berlin at 7pm, and waiting for Arkona we went by taxi to the city center, to eat and drink at Hofbräuhaus, in the traditional German atmosphere. We wanted to make a walk in Alexander Platz but a cold wind was blowing very strong, so we decided to return to tourbus where Arkona in the meanwhile had already settled into their bunks...singer Masha was sleeping near my bunk! At 4 am we left for Krakow, for the long journey to the first stage of this amazing tour!
Eccoci a Cracovia, pronti per la prima data del tour! Ieri mattina avevamo appuntamento alle 9 al nostro hotel di Dusseldorf col tourmanager che doveva venire a caricarci sul tourbus...eravamo ancora nel pieno del sonno quando alle 8 il telefono di Valerio è squillato: "Ragazzi avete tempo 45 minuti". Il tourmanager ha anticipato la tabella di marcia, siamo quindi saltati giù dai letti e in fretta ci siamo preparati. Tempo di mangiare un muffin alla forneria vicino l'hotel, e abbiamo visto arrivare il nostro tourbus: è stato emozionante salire per la prima volta su un nightliner, con le cuccette al secondo piano dove ci siamo subito sistemati per dormire ancora qualche ora. Siamo quindi partiti, direzione Berlino, per intraprendere il viaggio fino all'aeroporto di Berlino dove gli Arkona arrivavano diretti dal tour sudamericano. Tappa prima alla stazione dei treni di Dusseldorf per caricare gli italiani Heavenshine che condivideranno con noi metà tour.
E' stato un viaggio molto lungo, ma siamo riusciti a riposarci, le cuccette devo dire sono abbastanza comode! Siamo arrivati nella capitale tedesca alle 19, e in attesa degli Arkona ci siamo diretti in taxi verso il centro; siamo stati a mangiare all'Hofbrauhaus, nel classico clima tradizionale tedesco, tra birre e canti tipici. Volevamo farci un giro ad Alexander Platz ma soffiava un vento gelido fortissimo, abbiamo quindi deciso di tornare in tourbus dove gli Arkona si erano già sistemati nelle loro cuccette (impossessandosi anche di qualche nostro letto) per riposarsi dalla lunga trasferta...di fianco a me riposava Masha la cantante! Alle 4 di notte siamo ripartiti direzione Cracovia per affrontare il lungo viaggio verso la prima tappa di questo incredibile tour!
